Trained volunteers who have completed our 20-hour course in listening skills and the dynamics of crises staff the Crisis Hotline. Topics addressed during the training include listening to adolescents, alcoholism/substance abuse, the abuse and neglect of children, public assistance resources, Hospice care, mental illness, co-dependency, suicide intervention and domestic violence and sexual assault.
